Can't set PDF page size printing from Word 2013

i trying print word 2013 (on windows 8.1) adobe pdf virtual printer. trying change page size 6" wide x 9" high, custom size created "add..." button in adobe pdf document properties dialog adobe pdf printer. whether change there or in advanced options dialog box, after hitting ok , reopening, has switched slide 7.5 x 10. tried changing letter , still slide 7.5 x 10 when reopened dialog box. how can print word document pdf/x-1a 2001 6" x 9" pdf file? using adobe cs6 master collection. thanks.

it seems doing correct , thing need add here making page size change print dialog of word application.

 

here steps mentioned below.

 

1. open devices & printers window start menu. right-click adobe pdf printer, , choose printing preferences.
2. go layout tab , click on advanced button.
3. from paper size drop down, add postscript customer page size (i.e. 6 x 9).
4. now adobe pdf settings tab, add 6 x 9 page size under adobe pdf page size drop down.
   
5. in ms word application, choose file > print. select adobe pdf printer, , click printer properties button.
6. check page size here adobe pdf printer. click ok after checking settings. (ideally should change)
7. then click on page setup in print dialog of word , paper tab select 6 x 9 page size.
8. print document.
