so updated our reader dc administrative installation point scheduled 15.009.20069 update (calling msiexec follows) , update installation point out-of-band 15.009.20077 update. so, tried command similar to:   msiexec /a \\server\admininstallshare\readerdc\acroread.msi /p acrordrdcupd1500920077.msp   and followed install prompts. after bit, installation fails error 1328, "error applying patch file."   i've tried several things (cleaning temp files, etc.), process fails message, while attempting patch acrord32.dll. when happens, click abort , process "rolls back." interestingly, if install reader dc administrative installation point, open reader dc , go > adobe acrobat reader dc, shows version 2015.009.20077. i'm concerned such install may "broken." ideas? suggestions process of updating administrative install point complete successfully?   thank you! hi flitter_mouse ,   error applying patch to [filename] . it's else updated file, , patch c

hello,   i have 2 swf files. main swf (main.swf) loads swf (external.swf). current code in main swf loads external swf is:   stop(); this.createemptymovieclip ("holder", 1); holder.loadmovie ("content/swf/m01/disclaimer.swf");   then loaded swf should unload on click event , main swf movie should resume play. the code in swf file is: on (release) { _level0.gotoandplay("hidemsg"); _parent.unloadmovie("content/swf/m01/disclaimer.swf",1); }   the external swf loads , unloads perfectly, main movie not seem resume. when try use _level0.play, seems reload , restart main.swf file.   any appreciated. laura i not sure maybe there's stop() method on frame "hidemsg" try go next frame , play. i purchased new macbook pro retina (yosimite) , i'm hating every moment of far adobe products.   i'm not sure if these related retina (like photoshop issues) or if these recent updates illustrator i'm having 2 issues:   1. want paste object (photo or vector) in center of artboard. years, command 0 put artboard in center of window, paste defaults dead center of artboard. now, not work if have rulers turned on.   2. additionally, if have photo masked inside square , cut , paste artboard (and artboard centered in window), paste placement centered according image inside mask. it's never done in 20 years i've been working in illustrator.   the ridiculous resolution issues in photoshop adobe , retina inexcusable, plain simple. if design web, images 1/2 size should when viewed @ 100%. can view them @ 200% image blurry. serious? safari can adjust retina adobe can't. wow. hello name christos , new indesign. have convert old quarkxpress (v.3.2) files modern file type , make them available in pdf format. opened them in indesign, there lot of missing fonts, , text appears corrupted. missing fonts old greek fonts macos (like grtimes, lctimespolytonic, ub-times, times) made without unicode rules , cannot found anywhere. found original font files in old macintosh (1999) , tried convert them using fontforge software ttf file windows. convertion latin fonts succesful greek fonts failed. there solution? real problem fonts old , cannot found purchase them, , cannot change them font because can't read @ all! i may missing something, there reason don't load old fonts onto system? format fonts currently? postscript? hi,   problem: i trying add hyperlinks text in indesign template creating merged document ( indesign data merge feature ). hyperlinks not shown/transferred pdf files. problem seems export pdf feature in data merge.   observed: i observed hyperlink checkbox disabled on 'export pdf' dialog.   steps performed: data merge -> export pdf -> include tab -> 'hyperlink' checkbox disabled. i have tried changing presets , created new presets allow hyperlinks when new preset selected 'hyperlink' check box disabled. can let me know how enable it.     i have attached screenshot of dialog box. it great if 1 can me out.   you have compatibility set ancient acrobat 5. why not bump notch or 3 , see hyperlinks come alive? we are planning migrate mx7 cf11 , trying determine how effort take.  in meantime, using oracle 10.2 getting pressure migrate oracle 12c before migrate cf11.  possible? thanks this depends on code. might find no code needs touching , works fine, may find large parts need rewriting.   some code have been depreciated since cf7 , wont work in cf11. best bet install cf11 trial / dev edition , see breaks. there feature in cf 11 administrator called code analyzer check code , tell there problems.  not perfect give idea of obvious changes need done.   oracle 12c supported cf11. have problems getting working cf7. win10 on brand spanking new msi gs60 skylake i7 6700hq 2.6ghz, nvidia 970m 3 gb, 16gb ddr4, running updated 2015 prpro. os , apps on ssd, source files on hdd, cache/database/scratch on hdd   i've had pc couple weeks. installed adobe suite , few other utilities. until last night, able edit , render without major issue save infrequent short periods of program monitor not displaying playing or scrubbing. program catch , scrub. had issue on of freezing while trimming, whereby unchecking "composite preview during trim" in timeline fixed it.   then last night started having new issue cannot scrub clips in source or program monitors. clicking on individual clips in timeline allows me see info in effect controls, lumetri panel etc cannot see displayed in program , source monitors or lumetri panel. clicking on lumetri after effects leaves effects info up. when exit prpro remains running in processes indefinitely tying 2 gb ram , 17% cpu. have manually kill process prpro restart.  

i have imac 27 inch mid 2010 2.93 ghz intel core i7 4g 1333 mhz ddr3  ali radeon hd 5760 1024mb  ----  downloaded adobe after effects cc , asked more powerful graphics card how do can run ae cc?   what should , options signed adobe ae cc   thanks after effects what mean when say" it asked more powerful graphics card "? exact message see? i have made little mistake... @ point accidentally flagged of photos. did not notice , continue doing lot of metadata related work. time noticed flagged late... i've made changes make worthwhile go earlier version of catalog.   so have backup of catalog correct photos flagged, , recent catalog using containing loads of new metadata.   there 950 photos flagged, bit flag hand... there clever way unflag photos accidentally flagged?   maybe exporting correct flagged photo's, importing them means there duplicates , apply flag on originals of duplicates... i'm thinking aloud. appreciated. hi,   you can select images have accidentally flagged , un-flag them.   thanks More discussions in Lightroom Classic CC adobe

hi all, after upgrading work machine el capitan, after effects slow, barely usable anymore. work on particular project tiff-sequences located on file server. loading tiffs seems take forever, each frame hangs on "retrieving frame" while. saving , loading project slow too. the problem not server or network connection. same project reasonably fast on 10.10. if open tiffs in finder, normal. if open project in windows, installed on same machine, normal. anyone has same problem, or solution this?   thanks   konrad hi konrad,   do have third party effects, plugins installed on machine?   go mac hd or startup drive>library>application support>adobe>common>plugins>7.0>mediacore. if yes, move of them desktop , make mediacore empty. once done launch after effects , check.   also, try rename adobe folders old_adobe found in below locations.   mke sure adobe apps closed.   go documents , rename adobe folder old_adobe (do not delete folder contains customized settin

  here i'm using updated premiere pro cc 2015 , nvidia drivers / cuda drivers well.   most recently, playback of clips in timeline takes longer start up, leaving ins, outs, , markers takes minute pick therefore leaving erroneous marks. seek indicator needs time "catch up" , runs rampant after playback has stopped.   occasionally, playback causes system crash , forces restart.   is known issue these settings setup? hi helen, first of all, os x 10.11 not yet supported premiere pro. have update coming shortly, however, may address of these issues. personal recommendation and of team remain on os x 10.10 time being. if cannot downgrade os, or rather wait update, can update os x 10.11.1 fixes 1 particular bug.   some troubleshooting may want try: after updating os x, first thing check every time make sure adobe folder permissions set properly. suggestion follow process after every major update of os x. solves lot of issues. the hardware requirements cc 2015 greater, drop p
