PrPro 2015 - PC - Source & Program Monitors, Lumetri Scopes not refreshing, then exiting PrPro, window closes BUT never leaves "Processes"

win10 on brand spanking new msi gs60 skylake i7 6700hq 2.6ghz, nvidia 970m 3 gb, 16gb ddr4, running updated 2015 prpro. os , apps on ssd, source files on hdd, cache/database/scratch on hdd

 

i've had pc couple weeks. installed adobe suite , few other utilities. until last night, able edit , render without major issue save infrequent short periods of program monitor not displaying playing or scrubbing. program catch , scrub. had issue on of freezing while trimming, whereby unchecking "composite preview during trim" in timeline fixed it.

 

then last night started having new issue cannot scrub clips in source or program monitors. clicking on individual clips in timeline allows me see info in effect controls, lumetri panel etc cannot see displayed in program , source monitors or lumetri panel. clicking on lumetri after effects leaves effects info up. when exit prpro remains running in processes indefinitely tying 2 gb ram , 17% cpu. have manually kill process prpro restart.

 

at same time, when try render out timeline, i can see "rendering" in source frame never displays image. if choose "queue" can render successfully if select export opens window , brings encoding box never gets off 0%.

 

steps i've tried: start new project , import old. clean/delete media cache , previews. set media cache , previews different locations.

 

please help! work has grounded halt, cannot proceed project!

what kind of video files working with?

raw files red or alexa more cpu intensive.

 

what happens when disable/turn off lumetri on clips?
