hi!   this question requires little background, i in throws of project creating print directory of high school grads 120 pages @ point. know indexes directories not strength of indesign, it's i've got, figured out work around. i've laid in data have "numbers" spread sheet entered year of graduation. names listed title, first name, second name , contact info, on 1 line. once laid out in indesign, went spread sheet, , edited eliminate fields names , placed last names in first column. opened text-only file in textedit , copied/pasted results onto second layer in indesign. (so have 2 layers, both same names on same page; layer 1 has full name , address, layer 2 has names, last name first.)   i made table of contents content on layer 2, sorting alphabetically. table of contents works alphabetical index , delighted own cleverness.   but....not fast, gungadin. way things set now, if there editing changes in directory @ point, have scroll through bad-boy 1 page @ time mak

i've been using layers create animations in illustrator (because has more drawing features flash), , whenever export .swf frames, loops weird. 1 of frames becomes static @ end of first loop , remains through other loops. attached video displaying issue. know it's not internet browser because same thing in adobe flash player. here's layers before exporting: http://prntscr.com/90ytgw . maybe there's wrong layer options. not sure. appreciated. i trying automatically flow text additional pages (by holding down shift key load cursor, clicking on red plus, etc), indesign automatically add enough pages accommodate loaded text.   however, every time click red plus, click empty frame on next page, fills page, adds additional pages end of document (rather end of story or end of section).   preferences --> type --> smart text reflow set add pages to: end of story (see screenshot). have tried making option read "end of section," either way program continues adding pages end of document, despite sections being defined in pages (see screenshot #2).   additional pages need automatically generated @ end of section "a", instead additional pages being automatically added end of "d" section".             More discussions in InDesign adobe

hello, while using automatic pitch correction, modest settings, artifacts added audio.  understand why happen during live playback, noises included after effect applied.  have tried many variations of sample rates, i/o buffer settings, etc.  clicks , pops present when using settings in effect cause @ max 10 cents adjustment.  able run many other resource intensive effects simultaneously without problem.  seems happen 1 particular effect. thank on issue. hi spinefan03,   today encountered exact problem well.  audition cc 2015.  can hear pop artifacts in multitrack playback.  worse, when mixdown, pops embedded in resulting output file.   i tried using envelope controls turn effect rack power off during segments pops occurred in mixdown, didn't help.  effect rack "turned off" pops still appeared.  if remove effect completely, pop artifacts don't show @ all.   were able find workaround? i'm relatively new adobe prpcc/encore cs6.   so far, i've been able preserve full 1920x1080 image quality in slideshows creating them prp, , file > export > media > blu ray preset.  (and importing .m2v/.wav file encore timeline.)   when i've instead created slideshows in encore, slideshow elements, highly compressed (i.e., pixelated ugly) images in final product, no matter settings used.   has else seen same pattern?  guess i'm satisfied solution i've found.  takes little work figure out exact duration of images, have opportunity of more creating control too.   thoughts? on page working on (in muse) have images supposed scroll off screen user begins scrolling page. yesterday, working wanted. user scroll down page , introductory images scroll off screen first real information page appears @ bottom. today (this morning) when woke not working. image scrolls short distance stops. can images scroll off page have increase scroll values significantly.   originally values ranged between .4 , .6 depending on image. have put in value of 3 4 causes image fly off page faster want. less , image seem stop once i've scrolled down short distance. muse stopping scroll effect after move down distance on page (hope i'm explaining right).   any idea going on? okay, decided close muse , reopen it. seems working intended. not sure going on here working again. i moved aperture lightroom 1 main feature in mind. ability search , view previews when external storage originals unattached.   my library quite large, around 200,000 photographs. master files stored externally on 2tb external hard drive, decent resolution preview kept locally on macbook pro.   i love feature. rare need full resolution images, need able search whole library time when out in field. don't intend take external drive me, or use other capture originals camera , immediate basic retouching. once big files stored on drive, need access them again, , hoping work previews big enough.   i have come across problem potential deal breaker , may mean need go back aperture if can't find solution or decent workaround. won't have external drive me work out on location of time , need send photographs @ no notice. idea grab laptop, quick search of whole library, select photos need , send them client straight away. surprised see lightroom seemingly has no way export previews. se

i have book want export in epub format. when export in pdf, colors good. when export in epub, colors faded, cmyk. color profile of document adobe rgb 1998. photos rgb. have checked every see if there 1 setting wrong, can't find wrong. not sure understand difference of export output?? i have no experience epub, muted colors typically happen when viewing images adobe rgb or prophoto profiles in non-color managed software. for online publishing, srgb best profile choice photos. convert photos srgb before placing them in id. the colors right in pdf because reader you're using (adobe reader or acrobat?) color managed, while epub reader isn't. several months ago posted problem elements 13 not being able create bluray movies.  never got resolved having tried advice provided. 1 response stated creation of bluray movies known issue premier elements 13.  if has been resolved in elements 14 me serious issue?  having managed create bluray after dozens of attempts have come software several months later new project and, guess what, have same issues again!  create bluray movie and, though no errors on completion, disc doesn't play.  have tried creating iso image again creates ie no errors on completion, resultant iso file cannot played.  software not cheap , should says or there should timescale resolve it.  such weakness n software think totally wrong publish new version if issue has not been resolved.   has managed create bluray movies?  talking large movies of around 20gb. i don't know burning blurays or ever "known issue." i've had no problems burning dvds or blurays or creating folders or isos in version

when accessing pdf file via chrome displays within chrome. when try save file, save routine returns chrome without entering save dialog. not sure how long has been happening. on version 10.1.15. can save file using print , changing output printer pdf file. should not have this. when using save function file going cloud where? i installed version 10.1.16 , problem persists. save file .pdf not .htm reader wants do. when try read file, adobe reader says file corrupted or not right type. are photoshop files' quality changed, in way, once incorporated indesign file?   forget indesign's view > display performance , size of monitor. had set highest resolution.   i printed out page, covered photoshop file, finding pixilated. then, replaced fresh, identical copy of same version of photoshop file. quality's appearance better, second time around.   thanks,   mfj you chose optimized subsampling when printing indesign.
