Why does ADE crash on MacBook when opening epub in ADE and sync to Kobo?

i able download epub local library using overdrive , file shows in ade , on computer finder. able read book using browser, when try , open book in ade or sync kobo, crashes.  frustrating! please help:)

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
