we have decided use tool manage medias (mediastore), including adobe illustrator files. our mediastore display objects vignettes (small image) , able export images on different formats, jpg. the problem have, see whole page through mediastore, not image have drawn ai. therefore, on vignette see nothing because image small in page (we see small black spot on blank squarre) , when send image (export), receivers need crop image in order picture...   is there option save in ai format, picture only? we want keep th ai format, want able edit ai if need make change. example of vignette: is hassle scale artboard fit artwork? when you're in "edit artboard" double-clicking given grouped image automatically scale current artboard fit artwork. hi!   i designed folder containing 8 pages in illustrator, makes 5 seperate illustrator documents. to make clearer printer, want make pdf in indesign.   now, placed 5 ai documents in indesign.   - defined 4mm bleed marks in illustrator, - seems pops bleed space has not been placed inside indesign document... - have set same bleed marks in indesign in illustrator   my question is: --> how can have 4 mm bleed contained in illustrator page in indesign page?   hope can me... cheers, c when place first illustrator file, show import options , change crop setting bleed (you did define bleed box when set file in illustrator, right?). setting stick until changed.   if didn't set bleed box correctly in ai, going have trouble placing files because there no other crop option give art outside crop margin maintain consistent size , positioning. cropping art or bounding box include of art off page, variable in size depending on artwork. hello everyone,   i exporting indesign file pdf. however, text appearing bolded when export pdf.   i attaching screenshot of 2 versions: on left looks when previewing in indesign; on right pdf version have after export. any ideas how fix this? need send client pdf versions sign off. this due transparency on page being flattened during export. exporting acrobat 5 or higher compatibility should correct that. we have photoshop elements 3 on xp.  not typo - getting times, lol!  received upgrade email.  have windows 7 not compatible photoshop elements 3 have never been able load newer system.  ditching xp it's no longer supported platform.  purchasing special offer upgrade still work on windows 7 operating system if we've never loaded photoshop elements os yet?  or have buy outright , eligible upgrades in future?  tia. as far know eligible pse 14 upgrade , shouldn't need install pse 3 on windows 7.   when install pse 14, might ask input serial pse 3.
