Help! How do I open my NEF files in Lightroom CC 2015?

lightroom , photoshop cc auto-updated on pc yesterday. today, when attempt import lightroom i can't view nef files (when in folder, files not listed). use d300, d300s , d800e. downloaded camera raw 9.1 , didn't help. not use nikon software transfer of files. transfer them directly memory card drive. please specific should do. thank in advance.

do have gray boxes saying preview not available or empty black screen?

 

please try following steps might help:

  • go lightroom > preferences.
  • click on general tab
  • uncheck “show ‘add photos’ screen”restart lightroom

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
