i have several issues on mac - converted photos / aperture - nice conversion app but...  nice neat aperture files came in collections.  thinking not idea, laboriously converted them folder structure.   1. first question - can access photos photos, aperture, , lightroom.  can't figure out these files kept.  if have 3 (or 2) copies of each photo, eliminate extras , rely on lightroom.   2.  decided see folders being access in lightroom.  located in mac file pictures in file structures match in light room (i.e. family subfolders structured in lr).  think made mistake adding pictures folders assuming show in lr - don't.  thinking should imported.  can import folder , pick on ones have not imported?  hard identify looking ones in , aren't.   3.  seems no matter how structure folders there (within folder or without) separate file organized date.  assume not duplicate confusing.  there way @ file structure created , eliminate date files?   4.  there easier way interact lr on mac?

i using lr 3 , yosemite os.  went delete old photos images folder in finder , realized once in trash photos need got mixed in those.  removed them trash images folder in finder.  files showing offline/ missing when try access them in lr.  tried re-locate missing images, , when clicked accept whole folder disappeared.  know why happened , have gone too?  can see original unedited photos in finder don't show anywhere in lr. please help!! when restored images, did put them in exactly same folder in previously? désolé de ne pas suffisamment parler anglais. l'aide sur revel est très limitée et comme il ne semble pas y avoir de support direct, j'avoue ne pas trouver de réponses dans les forums sur quelques sujets : 1) je synchronise à partir de mon pc des images qui sont sur un réseau. j'ai changé de pc et du coup il relance une synchronisation complète. je n'arrive pas à savoir si je dois la laisser faire ou si je peux l'interrompre. etant donné que j'ai près de 40000 photos et vidéo, cela prend plus d'une journée et recommence à chaque fois que je relance revel sur le pc. pourtant en vérifiant sur mon smartphone, il semble que toutes les photos soient bien dans le cloud. dans la barre de synchronisation il m'indique pourtant ajout de xxx photos sur yyy photos. or il n'y aucune nouvelle photo ajoutée dans le répertoire synchronisé. est-ce que je risque de dupliquer les photos ? est-ce que cela veut dire qu'avec le nombre de photos que j'ai, la synchr

i want digitize doll pattern i've drafted, facial features.   i've scanned in 'head' use template when place or drag scan illustrator it's huge. know can resize image , keep scale however, need exact size or wont fit rest of pattern.   why appear big , how can prevent/remedy this?   still newbie. sorry!   thanks, linden linden,   illy shows image @ 72 ppi.   you can scale fit original resolution, , size original size.   if image scanned @ 300 ppi, click , scale 24% (100*72/300).   for 600 ppi, scale 12%.   you can use object>transform>scale values, or can add *0.24 (or *0.12) in w or h box in transform platte , press ctrl/cmdenter scale proportionally.
