i have 60,000 remaining images in various subfolders add. when right-click on folder , choose synchronize folder, detects these images. however, after few minutes of activity (with thhe status bar reading "synchronizing folder "my photography"), lr reads "there no images add" these remaining subfolders not appear in main  photography folder, synchronization isn't happening should.   i not sure need here complete process. if first time using lightroom, start new catalog , import again, in small batches, folder folder.   if isn't option, reason type of synchronization fails because photos imported lightroom, lightroom thinks in different folder think in.   to find these photos in lightroom, follow of these 4 steps in order:   1.   in lightroom library module, on left, under catalog, click on photographs 2.   turn off filters (ctrl-l once or twice) 3.   turn off stacking (photo->stacking->expand stacks) 4.   search @ least 1 of these photos fil

i have used acrobat , photoshop extensively, , updated cs5 in 2013. photoshop worked fine acrobat 9 not update properly. have tried open indesign (i use 'pages') refuses open. i'm using os x 10.8.5 on macbook pro (retina, 2012). if indesign worked in past , not try , clear out preferences.  rid of shortcuts , custom settings have added presets printers , export (windows) start indesign, , press shift+ctrl+alt. click yes when asked if want delete preference files. not sure how word exactly, use skype record interviews podcast. have track 1 in audition 3.0 set record stereo mix records skype track. use focusrite scarlett 212 own mic , track 2 in audition set record line in 212. however, have listen skype "feed" through pc's headphone out , have no way of hearing myself in headphones, a) distracting , b) doesn't levels i've tried loop audio through focusrite, works fine except can't hear skype feed, yet it's recording in stereo mix (and speakers option work set line out 212i in skype)   the monitor option in audition 3.0 has latency , unusable want. basically, want hear skype feed through 212 mic feed (which can monitor direct monitor on 212) , record audition.   i know i'm not wording well, can offer help. it'd appreciated it might better try recording these postcasts outside audition , edit in audition. see second part of bob's reply thread.   usb headphone recording both microphone , headphone speaker
