"Default printer" doesn't default to the default printer in Photoshop

if want use 1 particular printer out of 3, printer loaded particular type of paper, or particular size. printing photoshop, select default printer in preferences, doesn't seem mean much. have pick printer every time, or wind printing letter-size b&w documents on color tabloid printer. take make default printer default printer? unplug other printers, doesn't help. works correctly in illustrator, not in photoshop. have do? i'm using photoshop cc 2015, os el capitan, on imac.

may know once select printer of choice in print dialogue box. photoshop prints correct printer.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
