Why is the bounding area of my .eps file larger than its artboard?

i have checked predictable issues:

1.

rulers have been set proper origin.

2.

type outlines.

3.

artboard set fit artwork.

4.

there no extraneous objects floating beyond artboard.

 

any suggestions appreciated. fighting deadlines , doing workarounds now, files have more durable future use.

okay, you've listed preventive measures 1 might at, haven't explained impact or quantification of discrepancy.

why bounding area of .eps file larger artboard?

...when what it? ...why eps?

...how larger? ...extra space on sides?

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
