Cannot render flame with my paths.

so, i'm trying use flame rendering tool , keep getting pop up, "could not render because content of layer not directly editable".

from understand, flame tool needs path render, not pixels (although tried anyway). i've selected paths in paths window, , done can think of make work. can't find ay reason why shouldn't working. ideas?

yes. whether use shape tool or pen tool, option must select "path" not "shape" before render > flame.

 

let me know how goes.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
