Is this possible with Audtion 3.0, Focusrite 212 and Skype
not sure how word exactly, use skype record interviews podcast. have track 1 in audition 3.0 set record stereo mix records skype track. use focusrite scarlett 212 own mic , track 2 in audition set record line in 212.
however, have listen skype "feed" through pc's headphone out , have no way of hearing myself in headphones, a) distracting , b) doesn't levels
i've tried loop audio through focusrite, works fine except can't hear skype feed, yet it's recording in stereo mix (and speakers option work set line out 212i in skype)
the monitor option in audition 3.0 has latency , unusable want. basically, want hear skype feed through 212 mic feed (which can monitor direct monitor on 212) , record audition.
i know i'm not wording well, can offer help. it'd appreciated
it might better try recording these postcasts outside audition , edit in audition. see second part of bob's reply thread.
