Recently Viewed History Only Displaying One Product

i'm following this guide display viewed product list, it's showing 1 product , it's not viewed product, inside script, i've changed "howmanyitems" 7,12,24 , none of them made difference, set same values in module_data's limit same results. after using

{{lastproducts|json}}

it says:

"totalitemscount": 1,

ideas?
