I cannot place pdf files into Microsoft Word. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Word 2016

i cannot place pdf files microsoft word. have adobe acrobat reader dc , word 2016

i have found adobe difficult company deal with.  whole concept file in computer must go through cloud convert word document on computer, , limited minuscule volume unless commercial level user contemptible.  believe have no choice cancel service since useless me.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
