Current PhotoShop Elements 14 Upgrade Offer Question

we have photoshop elements 3 on xp.  not typo - getting times, lol!  received upgrade email.  have windows 7 not compatible photoshop elements 3 have never been able load newer system.  ditching xp it's no longer supported platform.  purchasing special offer upgrade still work on windows 7 operating system if we've never loaded photoshop elements os yet?  or have buy outright , eligible upgrades in future?  tia.

as far know eligible pse 14 upgrade , shouldn't need install pse 3 on windows 7.

 

when install pse 14, might ask input serial pse 3.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
