place completed documents from Illustrator to indesign - bleed space??

hi!

 

i designed folder containing 8 pages in illustrator, makes 5 seperate illustrator documents.

to make clearer printer, want make pdf in indesign.

 

now, placed 5 ai documents in indesign.

 

- defined 4mm bleed marks in illustrator,

- seems pops bleed space has not been placed inside indesign document...

- have set same bleed marks in indesign in illustrator

 

my question is:

--> how can have 4 mm bleed contained in illustrator page in indesign page?

when place first illustrator file, show import options , change crop setting bleed (you did define bleed box when set file in illustrator, right?). setting stick until changed.

 

if didn't set bleed box correctly in ai, going have trouble placing files because there no other crop option give art outside crop margin maintain consistent size , positioning. cropping art or bounding box include of art off page, variable in size depending on artwork.
