Install issue on win 7

photoshop cc seems install, crashes upon opening, have re-installed once. works great on mac.

same windows machine runs ai , id fine. thanks

could please share event viewer logs can know cause of photoshop crash.

 

follow below instructions check event viewer crash logs :

  1. click windows start button > type event in search programs , files field.
  2. select event viewer
  3. navigate windows logs > application, , find latesteventwith “error” in level column , “application error” in source column

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
