Unable to import images in Lightroom 5 (Mac 10.11)

need help!  updated mac os yosemite el capitan , cannot import photos lightroom 5. @ first, automatically changed import default setting  lightroom iphoto able change lightroom. when tried import photos, see "the following files not imported because not read." had no problem prior this. new el capitan os? if have same problem , able fix it, please share!

you need check read & write permission destination & source folder, otherwise change destination folder desktop testing , see if works.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
