Can not save a downloaded file.

when accessing pdf file via chrome displays within chrome. when try save file, save routine returns chrome without entering save dialog. not sure how long has been happening. on version 10.1.15. can save file using print , changing output printer pdf file. should not have this. when using save function file going cloud where?

i installed version 10.1.16 , problem persists. save file .pdf not .htm reader wants do. when try read file, adobe reader says file corrupted or not right type.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
