Illustrator cut/paste is WACKED.

i purchased new macbook pro retina (yosimite) , i'm hating every moment of far adobe products.

 

i'm not sure if these related retina (like photoshop issues) or if these recent updates illustrator i'm having 2 issues:

 

1. want paste object (photo or vector) in center of artboard. years, command 0 put artboard in center of window, paste defaults dead center of artboard. now, not work if have rulers turned on.

 

2. additionally, if have photo masked inside square , cut , paste artboard (and artboard centered in window), paste placement centered according image inside mask. it's never done in 20 years i've been working in illustrator.

 

the ridiculous resolution issues in photoshop adobe , retina inexcusable, plain simple. if design web, images 1/2 size should when viewed @ 100%. can view them @ 200% image blurry. serious? safari can adjust retina adobe can't. wow.

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
