Updating Reader DC admin installation point with 15.009.20077 out-of-band update

so updated our reader dc administrative installation point scheduled 15.009.20069 update (calling msiexec follows) , update installation point out-of-band 15.009.20077 update. so, tried command similar to:

 

msiexec /a \\server\admininstallshare\readerdc\acroread.msi /p acrordrdcupd1500920077.msp

 

and followed install prompts. after bit, installation fails error 1328, "error applying patch file."

i've tried several things (cleaning temp files, etc.), process fails message, while attempting patch acrord32.dll. when happens, click abort , process "rolls back." interestingly, if install reader dc administrative installation point, open reader dc , go > adobe acrobat reader dc, shows version 2015.009.20077. i'm concerned such install may "broken." ideas? suggestions process of updating administrative install point complete successfully?

error applying patch to [filename]. it's else updated file, , patch can't modify it. a file has changed or missing. uninstall download adobe reader , acrobat cleaner tool - adobe labs , reinstall program adobe - adobe acrobat reader dc distribution.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
