After Effects very slow on El Capitan when working with network shares?

hi all,

after upgrading work machine el capitan, after effects slow, barely usable anymore. work on particular project tiff-sequences located on file server. loading tiffs seems take forever, each frame hangs on "retrieving frame" while. saving , loading project slow too.

the problem not server or network connection. same project reasonably fast on 10.10. if open tiffs in finder, normal. if open project in windows, installed on same machine, normal.

anyone has same problem, or solution this?

do have third party effects, plugins installed on machine?

 

go mac hd or startup drive>library>application support>adobe>common>plugins>7.0>mediacore.

if yes, move of them desktop , make mediacore empty.

once done launch after effects , check.

 

also, try rename adobe folders old_adobe found in below locations.

 

mke sure adobe apps closed.

 

go documents , rename adobe folder old_adobe (do not delete folder contains customized settings)

go user>username>library>application support , rename adobe folder (user library hidden click on go menu in finder , hold opt key)

go user>username>library>prefernces , same.
