Will Dreamweaver CS5.5 run using Windows 8.1?

will buying new laptop (old 1 used windows vista). new 1 running either windows 8.1 or windows 10? dreamweaver cs5.5 compatible either (or both) 8.1 or 10? compatibility guidelines on adobe site imprecise.

it should run ok on win 8 or 8.1.

it's uncertain win 10.  test first on 2nd computer.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
