I Have a problem installing LR6 on my mac, can't get any normal help from adobe

why adobe force me go cc. want buy lr6 , use it. somehow there problem on mac because keeps saying: "can't validate serialnr, please contact helpdesk."

i cannot normal them. want talk on phone can go on work.

sorry issue lightroom.

 

  • are using mac or windows, os version?
  • try disabling firewall , security software using.
  • also check "hosts" file , if there adobe entries in there rid of them.
  • is upgrade serial number using?

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
