hello After installation Adobe reader will not start because the exe file can't be found. However I can perfectly find the file myself.

all requirements in order (maybe not resolution, have not checked yet)

could please tell me version of adobe reader have installed on machine.

you find .exe file under "c:\program files (x86)\adobe\adobe reader" folder.

if not find same, please run cleaner tool "download adobe reader , acrobat cleaner tool - adobe labs" remove traces of reader , install latest version i.e. adobe reader dc here:

adobe acrobat reader dc install versions

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
