i got message follow :

  • if message not replaced proper contents of document pdf viewer may not able display type of document.
  • you can upgrade latest version of adobe reader windows® mac or linux® visiting http://www.adobe.com/go/reader_download.

 

so made necessary action upgrading still not working.

save file local computer , open directly in reader. not open inside browser window.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
