I can't seem to install acrobat 9 pro, help?

i can't seem install acrobat 9 pro. after insert disc, says copying folder? doesnt prompt me install , ask serial number etc. when copies folder click on , won't open , have force quit out. i've uninstalled 3 times , still no luck! it's brand new imac has factory settings. installed cs5 few problems appears installed.  idea why acrobat wont install?

i recommend buy latest version of acrobat ( plans , pricing | adobe acrobat dc )  acrobat 9 no longer supported , isn't compatible latest version of mac.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
