Lightroom was unable to prepare the selected file for editing. It will not be opened.

i trying edit image in nik software !

please let know lightroom version using.

 

if latest version, try turn off gpu preferences also, try reinstall compatible nik plugin lightroom.

 

go preferences

click on performance tab

uncheck gpu

restart lightroom

 

let know if helps.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
