pdapp.log file monster - can control it?

i'm reposting here recent pdapp issues can respond and, attract proper attention.

 

i've never used fireworks , encountered problem myself, using combination of flash, after effects, photoshop, illustrator, etc.

 

for me, i've found removing file via terminal (i'm on mac) did trick.

and, i've kept regular eye on since.

 

it seems kind of horrible infinite loop error in adobe program following:

  • look connection server
  • can't find connection
  • log problem
  • try again
  • repeat forever

this happened me in spite of regular, uninterrupted internet access.

though, why connection should necessary beyond me.

 

it gobbled 700gb of space when left unchecked.

 

i'd call major issue.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!! (if have installed arm , delete it, will, on "check updates nothing or common update error ) you nonsense: acrobat updates have been disabled system policy.   error: 100700 if installer ...

i trying batch process nef , dng files when error comes up: "referenceerror: window not have constructor : 325"   the same problem comes when trying batch processed files in same locations.   running cs6 bridge 5.0.2.4 ps 13.06x64   help!!! hi,   let try reset preferences of photoshop press , hold alt+control+shift (windows) or option+command+shift (mac os) start photoshop. prompted delete current settings. new preferences files created next time start photoshop. note: using keyboard shortcut, preference files custom shortcuts, workspaces, , color settings reset default.   thanks More discussions in Photoshop adobe
