Updates got stuck and now Creative Cloud says I need to install it to fix a problem with In Design and Adobe PDF maker not recognising characters in image files names that are in regular use.

in design won't process pdf or eps images saying there may character in file name can't recognised.

it did until yesterday, happened?!

and changing file name straight text has not fixed problem.

 

i'm on deadline here folks - out there help, pleeeaaase

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
