I'm receiving an odd error message while rotobrushing in After Effects CS6

i'm receiving odd error message while rotobrushing in after effects cs6 11.0.4 on mac using os x 10.10.5 (yosemite). 

the error reads: screen shot 2015-10-20 @ 2.16.56 pm.png

error every time attempt modify parameters of rotobrush, , frame goes dark although if move different frame , back, it's there again, unmodified.  i've emptied disk cache, repaired permissions, , multiprocessing has been turned off default. 

my mac's specs are: screen shot 2015-10-20 @ 2.41.06 pm.png

i've extensively roto'd 9 second clip, no issues, , added more layers of effects.  now, few days later when return refine roto, start getting error on every frame.  in advance assistance provided!

start clearing r caches.  see if helps.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
