lightroom won't open NEW to creative cloud

i signed lr , ps other day.  have been using ps (a little) and  have not noticed problem.  tonight tried open lr , not open @ all.  gives me error message.  reads  "cannot create required folder: /users/jwaller767/library/application support/adobe/lightroom/develop presets."   internal error has occured. 

 

what can fix this?  thank you

cannot create required folder means don't have write permission folder. ... change permissions.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
