I have Acrobat Xl active on my mac and the program will not convert my pdf files to Word. what could be wrong?

i having trouble converting pdf documents word. reviews have read tell me acrobat program top choice creating accurate conversions word. when try save word, program seems go through conversion process message no file converted. doing wrong? have watched instructional videos on how make conversion in acrobat , don't see doing wrong.

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
