Photoshop CS6 user (Mac): recently upgraded my iMac to OSX EI Capitan v.10.11.1. Frequent problem: Can't save image file after editing "due to Program Error" (pop-up screen).

adobe photoshop cs6 user (mac):  upgraded imac osx ei capitan v.10.11.1.  thereafter, same frequent problem keeps occurring:  can't save image file due "program error" (as indicated on pop-up-screen).  note: i'm user of camera raw, nik efex plug-ins.

greetings.

  • try resetting preferences of ps
    • to restore preferences using keyboard shortcut: press , hold or option+command+shift start photoshop. prompted delete current settings. new preferences files created next time start photoshop.
    • now see if can save files.
  • if not try this
    • close ps
    • now while holding down shift key open ps , click yes on prompt.
    • now try work ps

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
