Recently purchased a new Nikon D810 Camera. Only jpeg images will import into Photoshop CS4 Version. Raw images appear as a picture of a file. I use a Mac Desktop latest version 10.6.8. What can I do to see Raw images?

nikon d 810  supported @ least camera raw 8.6.

unfortunately cs 4 has maximum support of version 5.7 of camera raw, check here : https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/camera-raw-compatible-applications.html

check complete list of cameras supported respective camera raw version here : https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

 

so believe time upgrade.

or can use dng converter convert .nef images dng , use that.
