after updating adobe acrobat reader dc version 2015.009.20069 below message each time hyperlink selected within pdf file. not able allow connection.

may know whether getting option when trying access website or file on machine?

 

please try following:

launch acrobat

go edit > preferences > security (enhanced)

add file, folder path or host under privileged locations.

click ok

 

let me know if works.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
