Proper support for Content URI

hi, i'm reaching out android developer cloudtenna. our users access company files using mobile devices.

when viewing pdf cloudtenna, action_view intent content uri started (by cloudtenna android app) , acrobat reader able open pdf correctly.

however, seems i'm unable save edits / annotations pdf because acrobat reader saves cached file instead of saving content uri, though flag_grant_write_uri_permission flag has been added content uri, allows receiving app (acrobat reader) write uri without issue.

i'm wondering if confirm behavior app, , possibly make changes support opening directly content uris and/or saving content uris. think proper support content uris drastically improve file security when using app making android more work-friendly ecosystem.

for more info: https://developer.android.com/training/secure-file-sharing/request-file.html#openfile

looking forward feedback

best regards,

sheldon xu
