After installing El Capitan OS10.11.1 on my Mac, Photoshop CS4 will not open.

after installing el capitan os10.11.1 on mac, photoshop cs4 not open. instead, finder quit. so, instructed os, downloaded java update , installed it. photoshop still not open. uninstalled via uninstall folder , reinstalled photoshop plus other extensions checked. installation "successful", still not launch dock or folder icon. downloaded adobe update cs4, still not open. other cs4 apps open fine. wrong?

  • please right click( ctrl+click) on photoshop.app file , select " show package contents"
  • then please open contents folder, macos folder.
  • double click on photoshop open teminal.
  • please see if application opens or not.
