Image button click resulting in moving to next slide issue

we have image used button hides itself. our slides have 'next' button needs pressed continue next slide. however, when user clicks image button somehow triggers moving onto next slide.  we've looked @ timeline, actions both next button , image buttons, can't see may causing this. idea what's going on?

you not tell version using, nor type of action you

trigger image button? if using version before 9 , is

a simple action actions tab, have replace a

standard advanced action.
