Latest Update Causes Acrobat Pro XI to Lockup Computer Running Windows 10

i using adobe professional xi on computer windows 10 operating system. prior download, had no issues acrobat. now, every time try edit or add text pdf, machine freezes , way recover shut computer off via power button. need issue , provide new download fix.

have tried repairing acrobat ? (help -> repair acrobat)

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
