Acrobate 9 Ext Pro, my hard drive crashed and upon reinstalling I get an error saying my serial number is invalid. Help

i bought valid adobe acrobate 9 pro ext 8 years ago , upon reinstall after hard disk failure system tells me serial number invalid.  abobe chat , telephone customer service not helpful.  try send me retailer can not assist , point adobe.  can assist me in getting package reinstalled?  in advance.
