so downloaded adobe acrobat pro dc , went well, until tried opening attachment received on email. tells me have sign in activate software, , asking me select product of drop down menu adobe acrobat pro dc  not listed???? asking me enter serial # pop "serial # valid product not found. please help!!!!

generally error message when have installed upgrade version of adobe acrobat. can please check same.

if upgrade version, need use serial number of older version of adobe acrobat.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
