i have photoshop elements 12 , premier elements 13   ii buy premier 14 , photoshop 14 ,  update 12 , 13 keep same data files     14 work seamlessly togther photoshop , elements?

the data files managed in catalogs. if install new version of elements, format of catalog (and database) different. result, catalog 'conversion' necessary. when install new program, detects last catalog in use , prompts 'convert' it. creates new catalog in new format same data. old catalog kept, renamed -1 suffix; it's still available old elements version. don't use premiere, far know, it's same catalog manages data of both elements , premiere elements.
