layer or smart layer distorted

issue

photo layers or smart object layers when imported photoshop, become scrambled discolored , blocky. have attached of getting.

i running latest update of photoshop 2015.0.1 release.

 

mac osx

version 10.9.5

processor: 2.4 ghz core i7

memory 8 gb 13333 mhz d3

 

details:

this happening other versions of photoshop have installed. ie: cc  or cs6

this happening on: text layers, photo layers or smart object layers.

 

fixes:

sometimes issue correct if resize layer.

 

does turning off »use graphics processor« in performance preferences , restarting photoshop have bearing on issue?
