Acrobat DC won't open after download, any suggestions?

downloaded free trial of adobe acrobat dc , won't open @ all.  double click on icon , nothing.  touch screen, i've tried tapping directly , doesn't work either.  won't open saved pdfs viewing.  suggestions?

which device using , os using?

 

does device supports installing desktop apps (if it's tablet) ?

acrobat needs installed before can used view saved pdfs.

 

try restarting device , try installing acrobat again.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
