LR 4 won't import RAW files from Canon 7d mark ii

i bought canon 7d mark ii , using lr 4.  lr 4 refuses import raw files.  there solution?  options?  appreciate assistance. 

lightroom 4 dead long time before 7d mk ii came along - need lr 5.7 or newer.

cameras supported camera raw

 

either upgrade, or onvert files dng using free adobe dng converter, files lr 4 read.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
