In LIBRARY, LR crashes when I try to download pix from my camera's memory card.

using windows 10 , lr cc. when click "import" in library module, (after long delay) screen offering several source options. when choose "nikon d610" program crashes.

  • go lightroom > preferences.
  • click on general tab
  • uncheck “show ‘add photos’ screen”restart lightroom
  • also please go preferences > performance tab, , uncheck "use graphics processor "
  • restart lightroom , see if works.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
