Please help! I can't convert a scanned file to text searchable. I tried the online video and it did not help at all, my adobe looks different with different options!! Adobe Reader XI

older version of reader no more supports export pdf service.

please uninstall reader xi & install acrobat reader dc acrobat reader dc learn & support use export pdf service acrobat reader | export pdf acrobat reader dc.

 

you can use service online https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
