when I open a certain pdf at home on my laptop much of the text is garbled. if i open the same pdf at work the text is fine. what can I do to see & print the document properly at home?

could please tell reader/acrobat versions installed @ home machine , office machine?

also tell os work on .

do experience same pdf' or particular pdf?

you go through following document once , see if fixes issue.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
